Remembering loved ones

One of the paradoxes of bereavement is that while it is universal – we all lose the people we love best sooner or later – it is also unique. No two griefs are the same because no two relationships are the same. This means that whilst grief is universal it is also desperately lonely and isolating. And never more so than this year when our ability to come together to mourn and to care has been so compromised.
On Sunday November 1st we will be open between 10.30am (our service time, which lasts an hour) and then on until 2pm. You are welcome to come in and light a candle and remember a loved one. We will be staffed so we can offer you care if you need it, but it won’t be imposed on you. You can just sit.
God Bless
